Project Control Manager for the construction of the access roads for the
exploitation of the copper by client, “Xstrata,” and supervised by Bechtel
Corporation. This Project is called “Heavy Haul Road” and is divided in four
packages, Package 2 (78.5 km), Package 3 (76.1 km), Package 4 (56.4 km)
and Package 5 (26.6 km); all of them consider earth moving (excavation,
landfill, levelling and grading of construction sites, trench digging, rock
removal, blasting, etc.), transportation, road surface, signal & road
safety and environmental protection. The planning was made using
Primavera P6 (Ver.8.2) with resources and obtaining “S” Curve, SPI & CPI
for the project control.
