MOTA – ENGIL PERÚ – Peru OCT 2011 TO SEP 2013

Project Control Manager for the construction of the access roads for the exploitation of the copper by client, “Xstrata,” and supervised by Bechtel Corporation. This Project is called “Heavy Haul Road” and is divided in four packages, Package 2 (78.5 km), Package 3 (76.1 km), Package 4  (56.4 km) and Package 5 (26.6 km); all of them consider earth moving (excavation, landfill, levelling and grading of construction sites, trench digging, rock removal, blasting, etc.), transportation, road surface, signal & road safety and  environmental protection. The planning was made using Primavera P6 (Ver.8.2) with resources and obtaining “S” Curve, SPI & CPI for the project control.

Project Control Manager for the Project “DETAIL ENGINEERING FOR 15 BRIDGES IN NORTH HIGHWAY TRUJILLO-CHICLAYO.” The Master schedule was prepared by Primavera P3 & P6 including cost loading. The control was monitored and reports sent to clients COVISOL (CONCESIONARIA VIAL DEL SOL) and MTC (Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones). The project budget was over 1.8 million dollars.

 

J.C. CONTRATISTAS GENERALES E.I.R.L. – Peru                   AUG2009-MAR2010

Project Director for the project of electrical substations located in Chilca, Carabayllo, Planicie and Zapallal in the city of Lima, owned by PROYECTOS DE INFRAESTRUCTURA DEL PERÚ S.A.C.(PDI) with a budget of over 7 million dollars. The schedule and cost loading was prepared by Primavera P3 & P6 to last eight months with a team of more than thirty engineers and twenty other personnel.

The schedule and cost loading was prepared by Primavera P6 working remotely between California and Lima, Perú

Project Control Manager for the Project “Pre-Feasibility Study for the Rio Tinto Mine” located in Querocotillo Province, Cajamarca Peru, owned by Rio Tinto Mine Peru with a budget of over 300 million dollars. The study has three areas of work, the demo plant located in Chiclayo, the maintenance of 218 Km of roads and the farm where the mine is located. The project team consisted of thirty team members and the project’s cost and schedule control was executed using Primavera Project Planner version 6 (P3/E or P6).

Scheduler Engineer appointed to manage a 22 million dollar oxidation retrofit project for the largest construction organization in the United States, providing services in the heavy construction, mining and railroad industries.  Designed and implemented reorganization plan for the Henry Mills Filtration Plant by planning, controlling and updating project schedules for the filtration and oxidation of the water supply for the residents of Riverside, California.
